Bread of the Mighty Food Bank

Bread of the Mighty has been serving the community since 1987! We are a facility that collects, sorts, stores, and distributes donated food and basic essentials to over 110 nonprofit agency partners. We service 4 counties - Alachua, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union. We are a partner distribution organization under Feeding America, and a part of the twelve food bank network of Feeding Florida.  Bread of the Mighty utilizes individual and group volunteers in nearly every aspect of our operation. Volunteers are a vital part of our mission, and we are so grateful to have such a strong backing from the community! 

Our mission is to eliminate food insecurity in our area by increasing access to sufficient and nutritious food for those in need.
